1. “Speaking of pigeons”. She says this all the time and thinks it is hilarious. Usually she says it when she wants to interrupt an adult conversation and get our attention. We have no idea where the "pigeon" focus came from. She ALWAYS says it if the word pigeon is said, but the vast majority of the time we are not discussing pigeons.
2. Mike gave Ellee a stuffed toy owl. She named him “Hooy”--said as “Who-E”
3. She has started asking everyone how old they are, except she says it as “What is your number in age?”
4. Yesterday we were outside playing in the snow in the evening. She saw the moon and exclaimed “Moon!!! OHHH, How I have MISSED YOU!!!” and she clasped her hands over her heart.
5. One of her pet names for Katie is “Pickle” stemming from this picture.
6. Hamburger is officially called “Hamburger-ger”
7. She can recite the whole book “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” from memory.
8. It is not a saying, but it is still an Ellee-ism. She always wears her princess crown on the back of her head. She also wears bracelets as earrings hung over her whole ear.

9. An old one I remember. When she was first learning the names of her family she would get confused between Grandma and Grandpa. So she started emphasizing the last part as in “Grand-MA” and “Grand-PA”. She still does this but not as pronounced as she used to. :(
10. She only did this for a few days, but I thought it was fun when she was learning irregular words “Drawed,” “Mouses,” and “Sleeped”.
I need to do this - Nathan has been saying a lot: "Natalie: I winned you" (instead of I beat you!). Super cute. Also, he's obsessed with burping, bottoms, and other euphemisms he can think of for "bottom". Kids are so awesome at this age (I assume older too but that's yet to be determined).
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need to track Nathan-ism and Natalie-isms. Your kids are hilarious.
